Creative Kitchens & Interiors
Choose the package that suits you, add anything extra, and see your price as you go. When you are happy, accept at the bottom of the page.
A website that matches the quality of your work
You want a site that is eye-catching, makes people want to look at everything, and gets the right customers calling you for a consultation.
Choose your package
Each package builds on the one before it. Add-ons you choose later are charged at the prices shown here for 6 months from the date above.
Add anything extra
All optional. Blogging and monthly care work well together once the site is live.
Your price
When you pay
Payments for your package are spread across the project in six steps. These are the dates and amounts we agreed for you, and they replace the standard schedule in our terms.
The detail behind each part
Website design and build
A refined, premium website that matches the quality of what you build: confident, uncluttered, led by your best photography, easy to use on a phone, and built so enquiries are one tap away. It stays on WordPress, rebuilt in Elementor Pro, so you can keep it up to date yourself should you wish.
- 8 core pages: Home, About & Meet the Team, Kitchens, Bathrooms & Vanities, Laundry, Wardrobes & Interior Joinery, Gallery, and Contact.
- Your story, in your words, written from your interview answers, including your trade qualifications, awards and 10-year workmanship warranty.
- A Meet the Team page for Sean, Tracy, Vincent, Adam, Bryce and Derek.
- Built to convert: clear "book a consultation" calls to action, a simple enquiry form, click-to-call on mobile, and your pricing calculator embedded where it makes sense.
- Fast and secure: mobile-first design, image optimisation, security and backup set-up, hosted with My Host as it is now.
- Basic on-page SEO on every page: a unique page title and description, tidy headings, clear web addresses, descriptive image names and labels, internal links, and a sitemap submitted to Google.
- Redirects from your old pages so you don't lose existing Google rankings, and your email forwarding left working.
- Google reviews shown live on the site, a Privacy Policy and website terms, and your supplier list updated.
- Training: a short walkthrough video and one live session so you and Tracy can make simple edits.
- 30 days of free tweaks and fixes after launch.
Google Business Profile, Analytics and Search Console
These free Google tools show you who is finding you and what they do next. They were set up by a previous provider, so step one is making sure you own them. Both are included in every package.
- Business Profile: confirm you're the owner, choose the right categories, list every service and area, set opening hours that match how you really work, add your best photos and awards, and set up an easy way to ask happy clients for reviews, with a link and a QR code.
- Analytics and Search Console: set up under your own Google account, track phone taps, enquiry forms and consultation requests, record a starting point before launch, and walk you and Tracy through a simple view of the numbers.
Logo design (Recommended and Premium)
Your current logo is hard to read on a phone, and a phone is where many people will first meet you. Both options are created by our professional design partner Lauren and managed by us, so you only deal with one person.
| What's included | Logo Only (Recommended) | Start-Up Logo Package (Premium) |
|---|---|---|
| Unique logo options | 2 | 3 |
| Research into your field of business | Included | Included |
| Revision rounds | 2 | 2 |
| Print-friendly and web-friendly logo files | Included | Included |
| Favicon (the small icon in a browser tab) | Included | Included |
| Business card design | ✕ | Included |
| Vehicle signage mock-up (not a full wrap) | ✕ | Included |
| Basic logo and colour guide | ✕ | Included |
| Price if bought on its own (ex GST) | $795 | $1,515 |
Choose your logo before the website design is signed off and we'll build the site around it. If you'd rather not add the cost of a new logo now, we recommend using text for the logo until you can, though it is easier for us to design around a well-designed logo from the start.
Advanced SEO and AI search (Recommended and Premium)
More people now ask ChatGPT, Claude or Google's AI summaries "who makes handmade kitchens in Tauranga?" instead of scrolling a list of links. These tools recommend businesses whose websites state clearly who they are, what they make, where they work and why people trust them. Your story is strong. This work makes sure the internet can read it.
- Real keyword research: the exact words people use, matched to your pages and towns.
- Keyword-led tuning of page titles, headings and descriptions, going beyond the basic on-page setup.
- Short question-and-answer blocks on each service page, written the way AI tools quote them.
- Structured data that tells Google and AI tools your business name, services, areas, awards and reviews.
- Your business name, address and phone number matched across the website, Google Business Profile and the main NZ directories.
- Your awards, warranty, trade qualifications and reviews stated clearly where they can be found and quoted.
- A before-and-after check: we ask the main AI tools customer-style questions before launch and again afterwards.
Nobody can promise a place in an AI answer or on page one of Google, and we won't. What we promise is a site that is easy to find, easy to understand and easy to quote, plus honest reporting on how it's going.
Gallery and case studies (Recommended and Premium)
Your finished projects are your best sales team. We turn each one into a page that shows off the craftsmanship and tells Google and AI tools what you make and where. This covers the template, the keyword map, a photo-naming guide and your first case studies: 4 in Recommended, 6 in Premium.
Every case study has a title naming the style, room and suburb (for example "Handmade Shaker Kitchen Renovation, Papamoa"), two opening sentences, a four-part story (brief, challenge, what we made, result), before, during and after photos with plain descriptions, a client quote, links to the matching service page, and tags so visitors can filter by Kitchens, Bathrooms, Laundry or Wardrobes. The four client stories you shared in your interview are a ready-made starting point. We'll just need the photos and suburbs.
Blogging strategy and articles (add-on)
Most people who will one day need a kitchen haven't heard of you yet. They're typing questions into Google or AI first. Helpful articles answer those questions, put your name in front of them early, and give AI tools something real to quote.
The strategy gives you a 12-month plan: a calendar of topics, the keyword behind each one, and a simple guide to how each article should be structured. Each article covers writing, search optimisation and images. You review and approve everything. It takes one 15-minute chat a month, and each article is turned into Google Business Profile posts that Tracy can also share on social media.
Monthly SEO and Google Business Profile care (add-on)
A plain-English performance report, Google Business Profile posts and updates, and small content tweaks to keep improving. 3-month minimum.
Timeline
A typical Recommended build takes about 8 weeks from deposit, provided photos and answers arrive when needed. You said you just want it right, and we'd rather get it right than rush it.
- Week 1: Kick-off call. We sort out Google access, you share your photos and award badges with clear file names, and we introduce you to Lauren so she can start your logo if you've chosen one.
- Weeks 2–3: Keyword research, site map and design concept.
- Weeks 4–6: Build, copywriting and case studies. Google Business Profile, Analytics and Search Console set up.
- Week 7: Your review, with up to 2 rounds of changes.
- Week 8: Launch, redirects checked, training for you and Tracy.
- After launch: 30 days of free tweaks, then a first look at how the site is performing.
Paid directly by you, not included above: your annual Elementor Pro licence, and hosting and domain renewals with My Host.
Payment terms and acceptance
Payment terms
- Your package is paid in the six steps shown above. The first payment is due when you accept this proposal, and work begins once it is received.

- Hosting, domain and licence costs are paid directly to the provider.
- The first payment (25%) is a fixed deposit and is due when you accept. If you would like to spread the balance, we can set up fortnightly or monthly direct debits. Tell us in the box below.

- Please email mel@melanco.co.nz with all communication relating to a project.
- Our operating times are 9.30am – 3pm Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays when we will be closed).
- If our services are requested outside of these times, and if we are available, the charge will be two times your standard rate. This will be agreed to prior to any work being undertaken.
- There will be a close down period during the Christmas holidays and you will be supplied the dates towards the end of each year.
Our responsibilities
We undertake to provide you with consultancy services that meet your needs and requirements on either a casual, or one-off project basis at the cost agreed upon. Such services are to be provided with skill and care and within an agreed timeframe and/or budget. Additionally, we undertake to respond promptly to requests for urgent assistance.
Your responsibilities
You undertake to provide timely, clear instructions and directions for the provisions of such services; to provide the information or the access to the appropriate information to enable the tasks to be completed; and to meet the agreed period for payment.
Instructions
Instructions can be verbal, via app, text message, or email.
Our team
Melanco Consulting is run by Melanie Cosford, a freelance consultant, who will always be your main (core) contact and project manager. Melanie may engage contractors to perform specialist tasks, such as logo and branding design, where appropriate.
Fees for services
We will provide estimates or fixed price quotes for specific projects. In the absence of advertised fees or quotes our usual practice is to charge for our services by reference to the time spent by relevant staff charged at their hourly rate. We also take into account other factors including complexity, difficulty or novelty, the specialised skill or knowledge required, the volume of work involved, the urgency of the work and the overall result.
Our casual hourly rate is $125 + GST. Reduced rates are available for pre-paid hours and will be quoted on a case by case basis.
If you are requesting a service from us, you are engaging us. Service requests may be verbal (either telephone or in person) or written (e.g. letters, texts, app messages, notices, or email).
Quotation & fee estimates
Where a quotation is given by us for services:
- The quotation shall be valid for one month from the date of issue unless otherwise specified in writing.
- The fee shall be exclusive of disbursements and goods and services tax unless specifically stated to the contrary.
- We reserve the right to withdraw any quotation given to you without prior notice at any time after the quotation is given and before acceptance by you. Where services are required in addition to the services contemplated by the quotation, you agree to pay for the additional cost of such services.
- A quotation may include an estimate of the cost of a service to be provided by a third party. Any variation in the actual charge made by the third party may result in a variation to the total price payable by you. Where a fee estimate is given, and an engagement has begun on the basis of the fee estimate, we will endeavour to alert you to any change in cost exceeding 10% of the estimate.
Disbursement charges
We will charge for office disbursement costs specific to a task such as printing, photocopying, and postage. We also charge for external disbursements, including travel time (if outside Hamilton), mileage, accommodation costs, larger materials costs, couriers and subscriptions.
GST
We charge goods and services tax on services that we provide within New Zealand as required by New Zealand law.
Accounts & payments
Depending on the size of the project, full payment in advance OR payment of a 50% deposit will be required upon engaging our services. Progress payments will be arranged for larger projects, with final payment due on completion of the project. For this project, the payment schedule agreed in the proposal applies.
We do not send statements unless requested.
In order to help us stay focused on service to you as a client, without debt collection concerns, you agree to pay our accounts promptly and as per these terms. Failure to pay within 7 days following the date of invoice will result in overdue email(s) being sent out.
You understand, and agree, that late payments will receive an additional administration charge of $25 +GST per overdue week.
If an account is not paid, we may choose not to do any further work and retain custody of work done until all accounts are paid in full or alternative arrangements are made.
You are liable to pay our accounts on our agreed terms whether or not you have a right of recovery from a third party and whether or not a third party seeks a review of our charges.
If an invoice is in dispute and an amicable resolution cannot be reached within 28 days of the due date of an invoice, and we are forced to engage a third-party organisation to recover your debt, you are responsible for paying the additional costs involved, including any legal expenses.
Payments are via bank transfer and are the preferred method of payment. PayPal or Stripe payments are at our discretion and will incur a 3% surcharge, or 4% for payments from international clients.
Website design / system setup payment terms
For this website project the payment schedule is the one agreed in this proposal (25% on acceptance, 25% when the full site page content is drafted with wireframe, 15% when you approve the home page design, 15% when the full site design and build is ready for your sign-off, 10% when the case studies are added to the site, and 10% before the site goes live). It replaces the standard schedule.
Payment of domain hosting, domain registrations, domain transfers, custom integrations and/or other specialist products to do with your website or system are to be paid directly to the website host or software provider unless negotiated otherwise.
Credit checks
We may require credit checks on you as an entity before supplying services.

All care will be taken in the course of our work but at times we are required to make value judgments in providing our service. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage sustained by you and any liability on our part for any negligence or wrongful act, including that of contractors arranged on your behalf by us, shall be limited to the value of the fee charges for our service.
Limited liability
We are not liable to you for any consequential loss, including loss of profits, even if you advised us or we knew or should have known of the possibility of such loss. Any claim against us shall be limited entirely to a refund of part or all of our charge for the transaction in dispute.
If you have a dispute regarding our fees you agree in the first instance to contact your account manager or the Managing Director at Melanco Consulting.
